This video has been around for a while, but I just came across it again.
It’s a little overly dramatic for my tastes, but give it a chance. It started really hitting home for me around minute 2.
Sidenote: The mention of “Santa Clause” is unnecessary. I have no problem with the big guy.
Many who have the entrepreneurial flame inside them do everything they can to escape the prison of 9-to-5 only to find themselves an even tougher prison of 9-to-9 (or longer).
It can quickly seem like we’re treading water deeper & deeper below the surface where freedom of time & money await.
The popular cliche is that “time is money.”
But it’s not true.
Time is FAR more valuable than money… the most precious thing we could ever try to acquire or accumulate.
Money lost can be regained. Time lost is gone for good.
Personally, it’s an ongoing struggle to balance growing my business & supporting hundreds of customers with meeting the emotional needs of my wife & investing time into spiritual growth (with a God who allowed me to HAVE the freedom of entrepreneurship in the first place).
It’s against the nature of an entrepreneur to see time that’s NOT invested behind a computer or on the phone as time well-invested.
But the exact opposite is true when that time is invested into things that provide eternal return. We need to train our minds to recognize these things among the infinite channels of distraction every day.
If you’re a fellow entrepreneur (either full-time or aspiring), let’s band together & commit to giving our firstfruits (the very best of our time) to the things that matter most eternally.

Andy,
After watching this video clip, I had chills all over and felt the calling to write/compose a song mimicking the theme. That was 2 hours ago and I’m already finished. I’m amazed that God used me to do it and I hope it go to a larger audience one day.
At first, I denied the feeling saying, “not me.” So I jumped on Fruity Loops Studio and said, “God, if you want me to write this song…then let me make a beat I can use in less than 15 minutes.” Well, I liked the beat and wrote the song in an hour and a half.
I just wanted to let you know how much I was inspired by your work!
If you actually read this…shoot me an e-mail. Then, once I record the song I’ll e-mail it to you so you can tell me what you think of his work through me. Who knows…it may just end up on your ipod. Just put “Satan’s Scheme Song” in the subject so I can find your response.
Thanks,
Tim
