Day 1 :: Spouting Horn :: Mastering Your Inner Game
![]() |
There is a blowhole behind me in this video, believe it or not. (No jokes about me being the “blowhole”).
An interesting concept I learned from the great business mind, Ken Glickman, is that 24-hour days are for losers.
Here’s what I mean…
Most people only work consciously on the one or two tasks that are immediately at hand, but you can actually “ADD TIME” to your day by enabling your subconscious mind to work as well.
“Andy, this is bizarre you wacko… how do I put my subconscious to work?”
The answer is: Simply by feeding it success knowledge on a regular basis.
By “success knowledge” I mean wisdom, positivity, business strategy… basically, any success-inducing content written or recorded by successful people.
If these are the types of inputs your mind is receiving (.. rather than, say, VH1 reality shows), it allows your mind to utilize this knowledge & work on things even when you’re not consciously thinking about them. This is why you can be working on something difficult at night.. go to sleep.. then in the morning you have clarity & answers on whatever you were working on the night before. This happens to me all the time.
The result of allowing both your conscious & subconscious to work is essentially greater productivity in less time (.. or more “hours” in your day). Bogus? I don’t think so.
The simplified concept, I suppose, is “Garbage In, Garbage Out.”
And “Garbage Out” in business can have some pretty terrifying implications.
Thoughts determine Feelings determine Actions determine Results.
Action Steps for Today:
- Read a new book (start with my recommendations over on the right ->)
- Create a vision board
- Start every single day with affirmations & success knowledge.
I made this available on another post as well, but if you’d like my personal list of morning affirmations, download them here.
